Up to £53,200 DOE plus a £5,000 Welcome Bonus (£2,500 after one month and £2,500 after probation)
Hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30–16:30
Contract
Permanent – 52 weeks
Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke occupational therapy assessment and intervention for pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence, or SEMH needs.
* Work collaboratively with the education team within the standards provided by the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working.
* Hold a caseload and provide full clinical reporting, ensuring clarity and conciseness.
* Support pupils in developing independence and enhancing quality of life.
* Contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
* Maintain a person‑centred, empowering approach and a strong safeguarding culture.
Essential Criteria
* Recognised Occupational Therapy degree.
* Valid and up‑to‑date HCPC registration.
* Registered member of the RCOT.
* Previous experience providing OT services within a similar setting, preferably with neurodivergent or learning‑difficulty populations.
* Evidence of transferable skills and sound clinical understanding of OT theory.
* Experience of multi‑professional teamwork.
* Ability to work independently, flexibly and confidently.
* Clear and concise report writing skills.
* Interest in sensory integration or sensory‑informed practice (SI practitioner training preferred but not essential).
