Mechanical Fitter & Installation Engineer
Are you a hands-on Mechanical Fitter looking for a role that combines workshop precision with global adventure? Join a fast-growing manufacturer of special-purpose machinery, where you'll build complex conveyor systems at our client's Harlow site and travel internationally to install and commission equipment at customer locations.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Assembling bespoke machinery from detailed engineering drawings and pneumatic schematics.
* Installing, commissioning, and testing systems at customer sites worldwide.
* Performing mechanical tasks: drilling, tapping, cutting, fitting.
* Fitting motors, gearboxes, bearings, drive shafts, and pipework.
* Ensuring machinery is levelled and aligned to spec.
What You'll Need:
* Strong mechanical assembly and machine fitting experience.
* Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings.
* Skilled in mechanical alignment and precision fitting.
* Willingness to travel internationally and work overtime.
Qualifications:
Mechanical apprenticeship or vocational qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, BTEC).
