Responsibilities
* Take full ownership of store management, ensuring everything is in place to hit commercial targets with responsive management of budgets and cost controls.
* Oversee the complete business operation, maximising profitable sales and growth while creating a customer-focused environment.
* Lead in creating a positive workplace for everyone daily, while planning for team development with Dobbies.
* Inspire your team to deliver the best customer experience by creating a memorable customer journey.
* Monitor service levels, identify improvement areas, and coach team members individually.
* Collaborate with central support teams, maintaining excellent communication, stock supply, and responsiveness.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, caring for employee and customer welfare at all times.
Who we are looking for
* Retail management experience with proven ability to lead multiple teams and direct reports.
* Commercial awareness, including understanding budgets, profitability, and driving retail sales.
* Ability to identify and address training needs, coaching all levels for a first-class customer experience.
* Excellent communication skills to share initiatives, monitor performance, and foster teamwork.
* Adaptability to quickly respond to changing priorities and workloads.
* Positive attitude towards managing change, leading teams with care and motivation.
