Reporting into the Head of BI, you’ll be responsible for designing and delivering impactful visual representations of data that drive strategic insights and support informed decision making within the organisation. You’ll lead a team of analysts, ensuring the effective use of data visualisation tools and collaborating within agile delivery teams to meet business objectives.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing:
* Leading, mentoring and developing a team of analysts focused on data visualisation, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment
* Using best practices in data visualisation techniques and tools to create intuitive and compelling outputs
* Actively participating in Agile delivery teams, contributing to delivery planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their data visualisation needs and deliver solutions in an iterative manner
* Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data by conducting regular data audits and validation checks
* Identifying data discrepancies and collaborate with data owners to resolve issues
* Proactively seeking opportunities to enhance reporting processes and tools
* Staying updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analysis and reporting

What you’ll bring:
* Proven ability to lead, inspire and develop a team of analysts in a fast-paced environment
* Experience working in an agile delivery team
* Strong ability to analyse complex data sets and derive meaningful insights
* Familiarity with agile methodologies
* Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI) and database management
* Strong critical thinking skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions
* Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of data
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
