We are seeking an experienced and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Wakefield. This is an opportunity to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs who present challenging behaviour and require a calm, consistent and therapeutic approach.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour
* Background in SEMH, alternative provision, youth work or similar
* Team Teach training highly desirable
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
* Available for an immediate start
