Job Summary:
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations, people and equipment related to the manufacturing of ink. This role requires ensuring the quality of materials produced, maintaining the safety of plant personnel, and adhering to regulations pertinent to manufacturing at the facility. Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for administering company policies, procedures, and corporate initiatives within the department. They will directly report to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
· Oversee and manage all production activities to ensure efficient and timely production of goods to the highest quality standard.
· Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and production targets.
· Monitor production processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize production efficiency.
· Coordinate with the supply chain to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
Team Management and Leadership:
· Lead, mentor, and develop the production team to build a high-performing and motivated workforce.
· Provide coaching, training, and feedback to staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
· Encourage a positive and collaborative work environment to encourage teamwork and productivity.
Safety and Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
· Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
· Support and delivery to the company's safety training programs and initiatives to promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance.

Quality:
· Implement and maintain quality measure to ensure the consist quality of products.
· Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify and address quality issues.
· Support Operations and Compliance team to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience of Production Management within Manufacturing Industry.
- Certification or good knowledge of ATEX & DSEAR - preferred
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of ISO Systems
