We are partnering with a large and well established financial services organisation based in the Thames Valley who are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their team.
This team are responsible for analysing large volumes of customer data and looking for patterns and trends in customer behaviour to ensure that the business makes the right commercial decisions based on real data.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide in depth analysis of business performance, make recommendations for change and develop strategies to positively impact commercial success.
* Pricing and margin management for all products across physical and direct sales channels.
* Provide data relating to payment performance across digital channels.
* Reporting of all aspects of customer behaviour
* Calculating and reporting profitability of prepaid card lifetime value / Churn analysis.
* Develop and deliver robust and meaningful monthly and ad hoc management information, including variance and trend analysis.
* Maintain retail pricing models for all products.
* Provide monthly usage data and trend analysis.
* Support internal teams by providing data including usage & payments information.
* Control the movement of pricing and margin as approved by the trading committee.
* Monitor, report and make recommendations on pricing changes to support the product & sales team goals.
* Produce service level MI and performance analysis.
* Coach lead and develop the product & pricing analysts.
* Monitoring and reporting of 1st line risks to the business.
* Monitoring and reporting of payment processing data.
* Ad-Hoc report generation.
* Support role for business areas.
* Enhance reporting capabilities across the product team.
* Automating reports and task where possible
Essential skills/experience
* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to transform in-depth research into business strategy.
* Experience working in financial services
* Commercially astute with a track record of delivering results that impact the bottom line.
* Experienced in financial analysis and appraisal, activity-based costing, marginal costing.
* Excellent computer skills, in particular MS Excel, Access Power BI, SQL and experience of business intelligence software.
* Experience in Python programming.
* Excellent written and numerical presentation and communication skills.

You must have full right to work in the UK
This role is hybrid working and would require 2-3 days pw in their offices in Slough/Reading
