Your Role (Responsibilities)
* Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) national curriculum.
* Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning, providing targeted support in literacy and numeracy (including phonics and guided reading).
* Assist in preparing the classroom environment, setting up displays and learning resources.
* Help manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
* Observe, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing valuable feedback to the teacher.
* Supervise students during non-classroom time (e.g., break times, lunchtimes) to ensure their safety and well-being.
* Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), working closely with the SENCO to implement individual support plans (EHCPs).
* Contribute to a positive, stimulating, and supportive learning environment for all students.
What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:

* Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with children, staff, and parents.
* Can work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate initiative when required.
* Is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* (Desirable) Has previous experience working with children in a primary school setting.
* (Desirable) Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) or a degree in a related field.
* Must hold or be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
