Description
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment within the facility.
Ensure smooth operation of production machinery to minimise downtime during peak seasons.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maintain equipment reliability.
Support the team in maintaining operational efficiency during seasonal production periods.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working on-site.
Provide technical support for continuous improvement projects and upgrades.Profile
A successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer should have:
A recognised qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
Ability to work effectively during both regular and peak operational periods.
Experience with preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.Job Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £55,000 per annum.
Day shifts from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with an early finish at 2:00 pm on Fridays.
Seasonal shift patterns (July-September) with 56-hour weeks, including 16 hours at 1.33x pay.
Overtime compensation for hours exceeding 40 per week at 1.33x pay.
