As they move from core tech development into full-scale productization, the CTO team needs a RF Systems Architect to be the "technical glue" that brings the vision to life.
Responsibilities
* Architectural Ownership: Defining the roadmap from RFIC blocks through to software interfaces and calibration.
* Technical Integration: Ensuring that what works in simulation actually survives the real world (and 3GPP standards).
* Risk Mitigation: Identifying the "unknown unknowns" that impact yield and performance before they hit the customer.
* Leadership: Setting the standard for system-level thinking within a world-class engineering culture.
Why this role?
* True Innovation: You'll be working on breakthrough technology that simplifies how devices connect globally.
* Direct Impact: Reporting into the CTO team, your decisions directly shape the product's success and the company's roadmap.
* Cambridge Tech Hub: Based in the heart of the UK's semiconductor scene with a pragmatic, high-ownership culture.
* A heavy-hitting background in RF systems, RFICs, or RF modules within commercial product environments.
* The ability to speak "multiple languages" – bridging the gap between hardware design, software, and validation.
* A pragmatic mindset: You care about what can be built, tested, and delivered, not just what looks good on a whiteboard.
* Experience with 3GPP/MIPI and mobile RF front-ends is a massive plus.
