Overview
A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role due to the rural location and the requirement to drive the client's mobility van. We are looking for a Children\'s Support Worker to join our dedicated team, supporting a teenage boy with spina bifida in his family home in Midhurst. As a Support Worker, you\'ll be helping our client, a fun-loving teenage boy, enjoy life to the fullest. He lives at home with his grandparents, brothers, and their friendly cocker spaniel.
Responsibilities
* Supporting with personal care and mobility (including hoisting)
* Driving the client\'s mobility van to outings such as visits to the equine centre or local park
* Engaging in activities he enjoys such as colouring, card games, and more
Full training and shadowing are provided so you\'ll feel confident and supported every step of the way.
When You\'ll Work
* Every Saturday 8:00am to 4:00pm
* Optional extra shifts during school holidays (non-term time): Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 8:30am to 2:30pm
