About us
We’re an award-winning communications and creative content agency, specialising in video, animation, audio and AV solutions. We’re passionate about creating impactful, engaging communications that help business connect with their audiences.
We work with brilliant brands to help them connect with their audiences through film, sound and storytelling. With offices in Aberdeen and Newbury, we operate nationally and internationally—producing compelling content across video, animation, audio, AV and more.

The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Videographer / Editor to join our growing team in our Aberdeen office. This is a hands-on, client-facing role in a fast-paced production environment—ideal for someone who’s confident behind the camera and in the edit, but also brings energy and empathy to every client interaction.
You’ll be joining a tight-knit team of creatives and working across a wide range of projects—technical videos, adverts, social content, corporate storytelling, and more. From shooting on boats in the North Sea to filming content overseas or capturing storytelling moments in rural Scotland, no two days will be the same—and you’ll play a key role in shaping every project from start to finish.
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, manage their own time, and work closely with colleagues in production, commercial, and creative to deliver great work.

* Operate cameras, lighting and audio kit confidently on set
* Edit using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to deliver polished, high-quality output
* Support the commercial team with ideation, scoping, costing and proposals
* Lead on production logistics—scheduling shoots, managing timelines, and adapting to changes
* Represent AVC in front of clients—building trust, providing great service, and spotting new opportunities
* Work collaboratively with the wider team to develop ideas, treatments and creative approaches
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience in videography and editing, ideally in a client-facing role
* Strong technical skills with professional camera equipment
* Confident lighting and audio setup for interviews and location work
* Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
* Experience with gimbals or stabilisers
* Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple projects
* A collaborative mindset and a passion for doing great work with good people
* Travelling across Scotland, the UK, and sometimes overseas to film on location
* Taking part in offshore and marine-based projects (including filming from boats)
* Supporting or leading drone filming, depending on experience (training and licence support can be provided)
Nice to Have (but not essential)
* Experience with live streaming setups
* Project or production management experience
* Motion graphics or design skills
* Drone licence or flight experience
