The School of Education is currently seeking Academic Tutors. We are particularly interested in Academic Tutors who could support the design and delivery of Initial Teacher Education with QTS and iQTS programmes.
To support our recruitment process for these roles,we are holding an "Academic Tutor Open Evening" on Wednesday 15th October from 4pm-6pm.
This event will take place at the University of Sunderland, Wearside View Campus (SR6 0AN) in the social space.

About the role
We are looking for Academic Tutors from a range of phase and subject specialisms, including but not limited to:
* Primary Teacher Training Programmes (including PGCE, Undergraduate and SEND specialists)
* Secondary Teacher Training Programmes (Including PGCE secondary subject specialists, and Undergraduate Maths and Physical Education specialists)
* Assessment Only to QTS Programmes
What you can bring
Successful candidates will be educated to Degree level or equivalent professional qualification or, in exceptional circumstances, have significant experience as a practitioner within schools/colleges, within the relevant discipline. Candidates must hold QTS/QTLS to be successful in applying for this role.
