Bank Healthcare Assistant – Pre Operative Assessment | Leicester | Flexible Hours
Spire Leicester Hospital is currently recruiting for a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly Pre-Assessment Team on a bank basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and wants to work flexibly in a supportive environment.

Duties And Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Assistant in Pre-Assessment, you will work alongside our clinical team to support patients preparing for surgery. Your duties will include:
* Assisting with pre-operative assessments including observations
* Supporting nurses and clinicians in preparing patients for their upcoming procedures
* Accurately documenting patient information and escalating any concerns
* Providing reassurance and clear information to patients
* Maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment at all times
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with:
* Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant or similar role in a hospital or clinical setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Confidence in taking basic clinical observations
* Ability to work flexibly across shifts, including weekdays and weekends as needed
* A compassionate, reliable and professional approach to patient care
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable
