About the Team
We have the largest market leading energy and infrastructure property practice within the UK. Our breadth and depth of experience mean we provide high quality legal support on projects such as offshore wind farms, major roads, rail schemes, flood defence schemes and portfolios of EV charging stations. Energy and Infrastructure are core sectors, with Energy a priority investment area for the firm.
Work Highlights
* Advising bp Aberdeen Hydrogen Limited on the property aspects of a green hydrogen project powered by a nearby solar facility.
* Advising multiple Scotwind projects on onshore and offshore property arrangements.
* Advising Statkraft on onshore wind developments and a pumped storage hydro project in Loch Ness (Scotland).
* Advising Capital Dynamics on wind farm acquisitions in Scotland.
* Advising KfW in project financing and refinancing of wind farms in Scotland.
* Advising Zenobe on Europe’s largest 500MW battery storage financing in Scotland.
The Candidates Required
The successful candidates will be UK qualified with relevant energy and/or major infrastructure property experience in a large regional or national practice. They will have a strong academic background, be commercially aware, client-focused and able to develop business, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Lawyers joining this UK-wide team will work on a broad range of energy and infrastructure property matters, including wind (onshore and offshore), solar, hydrogen, carbon capture, battery storage and nuclear projects for public authorities, developers, investors, funders and utility companies.
