Deputy Care Home Manager
Location: Southport
Pay: £23.00 per hour
Hours: 40 per week

We are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Deputy Care Home Manager to join a well-established nursing home in Southport. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate clinical leader looking to progress within a supportive and forward-thinking care environment.
The successful candidate will work a mixed role consisting of:
* 2 clinical nursing shifts per week
* 2 supernumerary management shifts per week
You will support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service while ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, compliance, and resident wellbeing are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Home Manager with the overall operation of the home
* Lead and motivate the clinical and care teams
* Ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered
* Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
* Conduct audits, care plan reviews, and medication checks
* Assist with staff supervision, training, and development
* Support occupancy, resident satisfaction, and quality improvement initiatives
* Act as a clinical role model within the service
* Deputise for the Home Manager in their absence
Requirements
* Registered Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN preferred)
* Active NMC PIN
* Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse within a care home setting
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Passion for delivering outstanding elderly and nursing care
