We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and professional cleaner to join our team, maintaining our short-stay rental properties in Oxford.
We operate 6 high-quality rental apartments on the same site in Oxford, making the role more efficient and convenient, with no travel required between properties during your shift.
We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work and can consistently deliver excellent cleaning standards.
All cleans are scheduled through an app-based calendar system, where you will clearly see your assigned cleans and weekly hours (approximately 16–20 hours per week).
Job Details
Location: Oxford – 6 rentals on one site
Hours: 16–20 hours per week (depending on bookings)
Schedule: Cleans scheduled via app calendar between guest check-out and check-in
Pay: £15 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Deep cleaning and sanitising all areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living spaces
* Changing bed linens and towels to ensure a fresh, hotel-standard presentation
* Checking stock levels of linens, toiletries, and guest supplies
* Logging and preparing the correct quantity of laundry for our external laundry company (weekly collection)
* Managing linen rotation and ensuring accurate counts are recorded
* Restocking essentials such as toiletries, tea, coffee, and cleaning supplies
* Ensuring properties are guest-ready with strong attention to detail and presentation
* Spot-checking for maintenance issues and reporting them promptly
* Managing waste disposal, ensuring bins are emptied and recycling is sorted correctly
* Following a detailed cleaning checklist to maintain consistency and high standards
* Working from a live calendar of scheduled cleans to manage workload efficiently
Requirements
* Previous professional cleaning experience (holiday lets, hotels, or serviced apartments preferred)
* High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining excellent standards
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Reliable and flexible, as schedules depend on guest bookings
* Good communication skills to report issues and liaise with the property manager
