Mechanic/Plant Fitter (Workshop Based)
Thatcham
£15.00 an hour £40,000 OTE + Paid Time Overtime + Generous Holidays + Company Pension + On the Job Training + Career Progression + Technical Progression
Are you a Mechanic, Plant Fitter or similar, with experience working with hydraulics and electronics in plant maintenance, looking to expand your skillset within the construction field, looking to join a well-established plant hire company offering paid overtime, on the job training, generous holidays, company pension, skillset progression, and good life to work balance?
Do you want to join a experienced team of service engineers, specialising in maintenance and repairs of plant machinery, looking to expand their friendly team as they move from strength to strength in the construction sector, offering opportunities for paid overtime, good holidays, good life to work balance, on the job training and skill progression within this industry?
On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a local, family run, well-established plant hire and servicing company, working alongside leading manufactures, looking to grow and expand into to the construction market. With over 30 years of establishment, this company is moving from strength to strength in the construction industry, offering on the job training and paid overtime.
In this role you would be responsible for preparing and working on machinery, overall servicing and repairs of equipment and parts as well as working well within a team in the workshop.
The ideal Mechanic/Plant Fitter would have come from a similar engineering background, experienced in mechanics and working on and servicing plant machinery or similar.
The Role:
* Repairing, servicing and general maintenance of machinery and equipment
* Preparing machinery for plant hire
* Working within a team in the workshop
The Person:
* Experience in plant fitting, servicing or maintenance
* Knowledge of plant machinery, electronics and hydraulics
* Local to Newbury/Thatcham
