Your NewpanyHays is collaborating exclusively with an outstanding Public Sector Organisation in Telford, which is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join its team. This position is initially offered on a temporary basis, with strong potential to be permanent. Your New RoleAs part of an experienced Finance team, you will oversee financial responsibilities across multiple sites.
A significant portion of the role will focus on Purchase Ledger duties, including:
1. Processing invoices
2. Reconciling statements
3. Resolving supplier queries
4. Managing payment runs
Additional responsibilities include:
5. Sales ledger
6. Credit control
7. Journals
8. Petty cash management
9. Bank reconciliations
10. Liaising with internal staff to resolve queries and gather necessary information
