About The Role
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence? Join us as a Contract Operations Manager and oversee a major Highways term maintenance contract, including drainage, reactive, and winter services across South East England.
What you'll be doing
1. Lead a £30m–£70m budget and a team of 130+ professionals
2. Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures, with a focus on H & S, fostering a culture of Zero Harm
3. Manage a defined area of the contract P&L and balance sheet, implementing the Divisional business plan
4. Drive performance, profitability, and service excellence
5. Develop a strategic view of reactive service delivery and identify improvements
6. Build strong client relationships to support business growth
7. Shape strategy and deliver continuous improvement
Who we're looking for
1. Proven experience managing contracts worth £30m+
2. Operational or technical experience
3. Motivated to deliver customer satisfaction
4. Self-motivated to achieve high performance
5. Leadership skills to inspire success
6. Good financial acumen with knowledge of budget control and P&L accounts
Desirable Qualifications
1. Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or related field
2. Manager CSCS card
