Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting fee earners in handling a caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and new build matters.
2. Preparing and drafting legal documents and client correspondence.
3. Conducting searches, dealing with Land Registry applications, and completing SDLT forms.
4. Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.
5. Opening and closing files, managing case documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
6. Supporting with general administrative tasks to ensure smooth progression of files.
About You
7. Minimum of 12 months’ experience in a residential conveyancing support role.
8. Solid understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to post-completion.
9. Strong IT skills, particularly with case management systems and Microsoft Office.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication.
11. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
12. A client-focused attitude with strong attention to detail.
