Description:
Participate as a project team member providing primary construction oversight of installation contractors. Responsibilities include:
* Review project scope, specifications, and contracts to understand the project before installation.
* Participate in project planning meetings and provide input on constructability.
* Support kick-off, pre-outage planning, installation, and outage meetings with project status updates.
* Ensure all permits and notifications are in place prior to construction.
* Verify contractor safety, equipment, and training compliance.
* Collaborate on schedule development and understand execution plans.
* Act as the primary site contact for the installation contractor.
* Perform field observations to ensure successful installation.
* Coordinate safety measures, including LOTO procedures.
* Review contractor time sheets and enforce contract and site security requirements.
* Monitor compliance with safety, environmental, and policy standards.
* Manage critical lifts and communicate plans to station personnel.
* Oversee QC programs, enforce standards, and participate in meetings with station management.
* Provide daily project updates, implement emergency plans, and report incidents.
* Assist with punch-list development and ensure completion.
* Maintain accurate drawings and lessons learned documentation.
* Participate in post-project debriefs.
