Thermodynamics Engineer An innovative engineering and technology business is seeking a Thermodynamics Engineer to support the development of advanced thermal management and cooling systems used within high-performance industrial and scientific applications. This is an opportunity to join a research and development focused environment working on technically complex products from concept through to testing and manufacture. The Role You will be responsible for the design, analysis, and optimisation of thermal and refrigeration systems, supporting new product development activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams. The position will involve thermodynamic modelling, product testing, system validation, and continuous improvement activities. Key Responsibilities Design and develop thermal management and refrigeration systems for specialist applications. Carry out thermodynamic and heat transfer calculations to support product performance and development. Develop and validate mathematical and simulation models to predict system behaviour and reduce prototype dependency. Produce and review technical specifications for thermal systems and associated components. Support testing activities, analyse performance data, and identify opportunities for product improvement.
