Position Overview
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of conveyancing work, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
Responsibilities
1. Handle a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters
2. Deal with all aspects of transactions including sales, purchases, leaseholds, freeholds, re-mortgages and transfers of equity
3. Communicate with clients, agents, lenders and third parties to progress matters efficiently
4. Draft and review contracts, transfer deeds and other legal documents
5. Work independently while contributing to the wider property team
Requirements
6. Experience in handling a full conveyancing caseload independently
7. Solid technical understanding of residential property law and procedures
8. Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills
9. Well-organised and capable of working under pressure
10. A team player with a proactive and professional approach
