Background

Were working with an exceptionally well-run surgery seeking a Practice Nurse to join their friendly, multi-disciplinary team on a locum basis.

The practice is looking for cover for week commencing 17th November and 24th November, with the possibility of extension into December to help manage a backlog of appointments.

Salary £26.00 - £30.00 per hour

* Training practice
* Supportive team of GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Clinical and non-clinical supporting staff
* CQC Good
* 6700 patients
* SystemOne

Your role

* Locum Practice/Treatment room Nurse
* 2 days per week flex on days Tuesday to Friday
* Initially w/c 17th and 24th November, with potential to extend
* Experience in General practice or Primary Care settings is essential
* Mix of 10 and 20 minute appts
* Traditional practice nurse duties incl. Family Planning, Cervical Smears, Minor injuries, General Nursing advice, Dressings/Stitch removals, Vaccinations, Blood pressure checks, Travel advice/Immunisations
* You must be qualified as a Registered Nurse and be registered with the NMC
