What the Job Involves The role involves carrying a caseload to provide holistic support and expert advisory services to families relocating as refugees. You will ensure preparations for new arrivals, refer families to appropriate services, support them with necessary paperwork, and provide guidance on integration into British society. Engaging with partner services and attending relevant meetings to coordinate support services is key. The job requires maintaining accurate records, keeping abreast of service provision changes, and providing ongoing drop-in support. You will also support the Project Manager in evaluating project delivery and take part in professional development activities. Skills Experience in providing advice and support (Benefits, Housing, Debt Advice) Excellent knowledge of statutory and voluntary sector services Strong understanding of the UK benefits system and housing regulations Effective communication and reporting skills Excellent ICT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Empathetic yet assertive client interaction skills Commitment to equal opportunities and diversity Car driver with access to a vehicle (desirable) Experience working with interpreters (desirable)
