This multi-accredited and high-profile contractor delivers large-scale clean and waste water capital programmes for Anglian Water and offers a strong pipeline of AMP8 works as well as excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are actively seeking a Temporary Works Manager to join their delivery team in Colchester.
Your new role
As a Temporary Works Manager, you’ll take full ownership of temporary works planning from initiation topletion. You’ll conduct Category 1, 2 and 3 checks on temporary works for Anglian Water and subcontractor sites, develop Category 0 Standard Solutions and ensurepliance with BS5975:2024 and Anglian Water procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing and checking temporary works designs
2. Driving best practices across the water division through the Temporary Works Working Group
3. Providing technical support and advice to design and delivery teams
4. Undertaking audits and supporting permits and third-party requirements
5. Leading health and safety initiatives and embracing innovation in project delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will bring:
6. Proven experience in temporary works management within water infrastructure
7. Strong understanding of BS5975:2024 and temporary works design principles
8. Excellentmunication skills to engage clients and project teams
9. Visible leadership in health and safety and a proactive approach to innovation
10. Full UK driving licence.
