You will be responsible in being part of a small team to deliver a customer orientated service to prevent homelessness within the Housing Options and Homelessness service. Experience in carrying out statutory duties under homelessness legislation would be essential. A driving licence and use of car is also essential. You will also need to demonstrate the following: Experience in homelessness and/or housing advice casework Working knowledge of landlord and tenant law, housing legislation and benefit regulations Willingness and flexibility to work outside normal hours when necessary Good understanding of welfare benefits A customer focus Comprehensive knowledge of housing & homelessness policy, procedures and legislation.
