People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in COALVILLE, EAST MIDLANDS.

As a Class 2 Driver you will receive the following benefits:

Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
* RDC or Brewery Deliveries no handball (working on curtain-side trailers)
* Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
* Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
* Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
* Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
* Heavy lifting
As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:
* Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
* Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving Category C vehicles
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
* Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
* Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
* Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
* Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
* Must be reasonably physically fit as this role involves heavy lifting
* Experience driving any commercial vehicles

* Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
