Routes: Running out of various sites nationwide to any Visy location as required. Runs include ADL, QLD, SYD & MEL.
What you'll do:
* Running B-Double combinations.
* Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
* Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
* Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
* Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
* Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.
What You Will Bring:
* A valid MC Licence with minimum of 2 years’ recent Australian driving experience.
* Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.
* Sound knowledge of the regional areas or interstate routes.
* Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
* Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
* Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
* A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
* BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain.
* Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
