Role: \nTIG Sheet Metal Worker\n\nLocation: \nNottingham\n\nWhat's in it for you?\nConsistent daytime hours and overtime\nSecure, permanent employment\nWell established and growing business\nHuge orderbook of work with reliable Over Time\n\nRate:\n£15ph / ~£30,000\n\nHours:\n39\nMonday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm\nFriday: 7:30am - 3:00pm\n\nOvertime:\n1.33x on all hours\n\nStart:\nASAP\n\nContract:\nPermanent\n\nClient Summary: \nA leading manufacturer of trade signs, producing a wide variety of sizes for\nmany prestigious, high-end brand names.\n\nPosition Summary:\nThe role involves the fabrication and welding of high-quality trade signs, primarily for well-known\nretail brands. Duties will include cutting and forming sheet metal and TIG welding to join\nsections and create infill pieces.\n\nDuties include:\n* Working with Aluminium Sheet / Box Section / Tube / Angle to create a wide variety of signage and sign related fabrication, such as fascia's, totem signs, portals, enclosures, A frames.\n* Working with Mild steel to create hanging and supporting internal frames for aluminium / stainless cladding panels\n* Working from engineering drawings\n\nRequirements:\n* Ideally completed an apprenticeship in welding, sheet metal work, fabrication, or a similar discipline (Desired)\n* Experience working with Aluminium (TIG)\n* Strong fabrication background\n* Experience working with aluminium\n* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings\n* Flexibility to work overtime when required\n\nProcess: Weld Test - basic TIG T Fillet in Aluminium - 2/3mm
