Job Description
As a member of the team, you will be expected to:
• Day to day administration of SIPPs
• Process new business applications through to completion
• Complete transfers in and investment applications
• Process payments to investment providers and financial advisers
• Process investment withdrawals for payments on time
• Complete general servicing processes such as LOAs, FSCS claims, DSARs, change of agency or contact details
• Have timely communication with the advisers and members to notify them of any issues with the member’s request
• Ensure all requests are tracked till completion
• Being involved in projects within the administration department
• Other than new business, at times administer other aspects of SIPP and SSAS workload including SIPPs holding portfolios of properties
• Build relationships with our advisers and clients and deliver exceptional communication and service
• Share knowledge and support less experienced members of the team
• Ensuring full compliance with the Service Level Agreements
• Improve and/or maintain Quality Assurance across all areas of your work
• Embed risk management in all aspects of your work
• Ability to resolve complaints effectively
Skills Required:
1. Strong SIPP knowledge and experience
2. Contribute effectively to our wider business success within the group
3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure
4. Confident with the ability to ask questions
5. Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
7. Fluent and positive written and verbal communication outcome with internal as well as external entities
8. Excellent numerical and customer services skills
9. Understand SIPP rules and be able to perform drawdown calculations, bereavement benefit calculations and divorce calculations
10. Be able to understand investment transactions including identifying non-standard investments
11. Aptitude to learn and adapt new skills, processes, systems and tasks
12. Understand pension rules and be able to perform drawdown calculations, bereavement benefit calculations and divorce calculations
