Location: Redhill, SurreySalary: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)Contract Type: TemporaryStart Date: Immediate or September 2026
About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in the Redhill area. This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils’ learning and development within a positive and engaging classroom environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and ensure that all pupils are able to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
* Work with individuals or small groups to support learning
* Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and activities
* Help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
* Support pupils with additional needs where required
* Promote positive behaviour in line with the school’s policies
Person Specification
Essential:
* Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A positive, flexible and proactive approach
* A commitment to supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing
Desirable:
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND
* Knowledge of the UK education system
