A warm and welcoming Catholic primary school in the Thornton (L23) area of Liverpool is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis, starting ASAP and continuing through to July 2026.

* Position: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
* Year Group: Year 3
* Start Date: Immediate
* Contract: Long-term (until July 2026)
* Location: Thornton, L23 Liverpool

You’ll be providing individualised support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and thrive in a supportive classroom environment. The school is known for its caring staff, strong values, and commitment to every child’s development.

* Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly in KS2
* Patient, empathetic, and adaptable
* Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
