Assistant Operations Manager – PBSA (Student Accommodation)
Salary: £30,144 per annum, plus 5% discretionary bonus
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, predominantly 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional late shifts (12.00 – 8pm) and some weekends
Working across two purpose-built student accommodations in Leicester, the Assistant Operations Manager will be a key part of our client's friendly and experienced property team.
Your responsibilities include delivering excellent resident experiences, maintaining high standards of building upkeep and compliance, building strong relationships with your team, stakeholders, contractors, and universities. You will support with debt management, sales, events, compliance, safety, welfare, and summer turnaround projects.
You will work closely with residents and team members to ensure a safe, welcoming, and fun environment. Your role involves supporting rebooking, sales, events, compliance, safety, and welfare activities.

* Coordinate with Finance, HR, Health & Safety, Marketing, and Procurement teams.
* Collaborate with various operational units to optimize building management.
* Encourage innovative ideas and solutions.
* Act as a bridge between the team and the Operations Manager, making judgment calls as needed.
* Participate in Customer Service Advisor shifts as needed, maintaining high service standards.
Who we’re looking for:
* Experienced Assistant Manager or Manager, preferably from student accommodation, BTR, hotel, or leisure sectors.
* First-class customer service and administrative skills.
* Excellent management and leadership abilities.
* Experience in building management, maintenance, and facilities management preferred.
* Resilient and capable of making tough decisions.
* Self-starter, adaptable to change.
