The Role
You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of our specialist products — including assembly, testing, servicing, and repair. Working closely with a skilled and supportive team, you’ll help build precision mechanical/electrical systems and ensure they meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
This is a great opportunity to build deep technical skills in areas like machining, pneumatics, diagnostics, and system testing. We’ll provide structured training and support your development toward more senior roles in service engineering, commissioning, or project support.
Key Responsibilities for the Service & Assembly Technician
* Assemble and integrate mechanical and electrical components
* Perform routine servicing, inspections, and minor repairs
* Support testing, diagnostics, and quality assurance procedures
* Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop standards
* Read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
* Collaborate with engineers and service staff on live projects
* Take part in hands-on learning in machining and fitting practices
What we’re looking for in a Service & Assembly Technician
* Mechanically minded, with practical skills and a desire to learn
* Qualified through an engineering apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or similar route
* Familiar with basic hand tools, mechanical assembly, and workshop practices
* Able to read engineering drawings and follow build instructions
* Reliable, detail-oriented, and a good communicator
* Comfortable working in a small, hands-on technical team
