Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer in Biblical and Early Christian Studies (teaching and research), starting from 1 September 2025.
You will be essential to delivering the Religions, Theology and Ethics programme, with a focus on research and teaching in Bible and Early Christianity. Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant field and demonstrable university-level teaching experience. Ability to teach one or both biblical languages and a record of high-quality publications are required. Desirable qualifications include experience in grant acquisition and expertise that enhances research and resource access at the John Rylands Research Institute and Library. Excellent interpersonal skills and student engagement are essential.
