Since the 1970's we have been serving the people of Irthlingborough with their health needs. Over the years we have grown and now have 48 staff members assisting 11600 patients in Irthlingborough and the surrounding villages from two dedicated medical centres.
Working predominantly as part of the reception/admin team you need to be flexible and be able to work along side others as part of a team, for whom supporting each other is very important. The right candidate will work 37.5 hours over 5 days.
This role will be supporting the Practice Manager with a variety of administrative duties. Including, by not limited to, out going post, contacting patients, managing the online booking system (booking patients appointments), facilities management (arranging quotes and contractors), reviewing policy, creating agendas, running audits, risk stratification management and much more. Full training will be provided so experience in each area is not required but confidence, an ability to communicate with different stakeholders and a willingness to take on new challenges in a varied role is essential.
You will be helping patients who are feeling unwell and are concerned about their health therefore you must be a caring, trustworthy person who has compassion and understanding.
A large part of the role involves using computers, having a good understanding of Microsoft packages would be an advantage, training will be given for role specific programmes.
