We're working with a welcoming primary school in Shirehampton looking for a compassionate and committed Autism Support Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
This is a full-time role where you'll become a trusted part of a child's school day, helping them navigate learning, build confidence, and celebrate those brilliant little wins that make a big difference.
What you'll be doing
* Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with autism throughout the school day
* Helping create a calm, structured, and positive learning environment
* Supporting communication, emotional regulation, and social development
* Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider school team
* Encouraging independence and celebrating progress, big and small

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
