JOB SUMMARY
The Endoscopy Admin Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Admin Manager in ensuring the delivery of an effective and efficient reception and administration service in the Endoscopy Department. The post holder will directly supervise reception and assistant administrative staff and will also work as a member of the team. The post holder will be required to work occasional Saturdays, a maximum of in .
The post holder will be required to undertake a wide range of administrative duties to support the Admin Manager and the wider Endoscopy team. In addition, the post holder will be expected to engage in future developments that will impact the admin team, including EPR, and assist with all procedural documentation. The post holder will develop and maintain close liaisons with medical and nursing staff.
Main duties of the job
1. The Admin Supervisor will coordinate the daily activities of the admin team, provide support and advice and ensure staff portray a professional image to all service users.
2. The post holder is jointly responsible for ensuring all shifts are covered, to ensure a service is provided.
3. The post holder will work as a member of the reception team which includes working rostered unsociable hours and expected to work flexibly to support the needs of the department.
4. Responsible for providing a patient friendly, confidential, speedy and effective reception and registration service for patients, relatives and visitors attending the Endoscopy Department.
