Summary:
We are recruiting for an exciting new opportunity for a Graduate Surveyor to join our dedicated valuation and professional services team based in Leeds. Within the role you will be involved in a diverse range of work supporting senior colleagues with instructions such as rent reviews, lease renewals and valuations for a variety of purposes.
The role will be a mix of office based and on-site working, accompanying valuers on property inspections, prior to assisting with report write ups and other such matters.
This is very much a hands-on role, which will help the successful candidate to gain the necessary experience to enable them to work and progress through their APC, under the mentorship of senior colleagues who will act as their supervisor and counsellor.

Responsbilities:
* Accompany valuers to undertake property inspections for commercial and residential properties.
* Assist with measured surveys and preparation of documentation.
* Support the lead valuer to compile reports, including undertaking statutory checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Liaise with clients to obtain the appropriate information and build effective relationships.
* Assist with landlord and tenant matters such as rent reviews, and lease renewal negotiations.
* Source, analyse and verify comparable evidence
Person Specification:
* RICS accredited undergraduate degree, preferably within Estate Management.
* Self-motivated to develop professionally and achieve APC qualification.
* Relevant work experience would be advantageous.
* Strong communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
* Ambitious, self-motivated, and a team player.
* Valid driving license with willingness to travel.
* Willingness to learn with a strong work ethic
