We are experiencing an exciting time of growth and development and we require a full-time Finance Manager to join our dedicated and close-knit team based at our Head Office in Hartfield located in the beautiful East Sussex countryside close to Ashdown Forest.
You will be highly motivated and organised with a strong attention to detail. Through skilled and effective financial management, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Company's finances as well as strategically planning for the continued growth and success of the Company.
Working closely with the Senior Management and the wider business, you will have a highly flexible approach to your work as this role will develop and expand with the continued growth and success of the Company.
Key responsibilities will include:
· The preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports
· Stock inventory control using 'Unleashed' inventory management software
· Purchase/sales invoice processing and purchase/sales ledger control
· Bank reconciliations
· Preparation of VAT returns
· Manage & prepare budget, forecasts & income generation
· Provide insightful information and expectations to Directors to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
Key skills and attributes:
· Excellent working knowledge of Xero accounting software (or similar)
· Strong working knowledge of 'Unleashed' inventory management software (or similar)
· Experience of international and multi currency trading
· Experience of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify
· Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
· Advanced Excel skills
· Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
· High attention to detail
· A problem-solving approach to work.
Professional experience and education:
You will have at least two year's previous experience in a similar role and be partly of fully qualified through either ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
You will have experience of international finances and transaction, particularly in the USA and/or Europe.
