An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position ofReceptionist to join our welcoming and friendly team at Omnia Medical Practice.We are a forward thinking and friendly practice based in the East ofBirmingham. We are looking to employ another Receptionist to join our friendly,approachable and committed team who enjoy the work they do.

Previous GP experience is desirable and having worked in apublic facing roll will be a benefit.
Typical full time shift patterns are 8-4,10:30-6:30 & 11-7, part time shift patterns to be discussed. The future plan is that the Practice will be open until8pm each evening. Flexibility will be essential for cover as required.
Main duties of the job
The primary responsibility is to provide a high qualityclerical and administrative service to our patients. You will be responsiblefor all front of house services and patient signposting.
The ability to use own judgement, resourcefulness, commonsense, and to work under pressure whilst remaining calm is essential, as is theability to work as part of a team. A flexible and co-operative approach is alsoessential.
The role comprises all aspects of reception andadministration duties within a GP Practice including but not limited to:
Dealing with patient queries by telephone, online platformand in person.
Assisting all members of the Practice team.
Adhering to health and safety, confidentiality, policies andprocedures plus mandatory training
All reasonable tasks as required by Management and Doctors.

Job responsibilities
Toprovide a point of contact for patients and act as a focal point ofcommunication between patients, doctors and other medical staff
To meet& greet visitors, ensuring visitor procedures are maintained and directingthem to their final destination.
Toprovide excellent patient service and maintain a professional manner at alltimes
Resolvingboth telephone and face to face enquiries to the patient / guest or visitorssatisfaction
To workas part of a multi-disciplinary primary care team providing excellence inprimary care to the residents of Eastern Birmingham
