The Quill CofE Multi Academy Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive IT Technician to support the IT systems across our three schools. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your technical skills will directly contribute to the learning and development of students and staff.
About the Role
As our IT Technician, you will:
* Provide first-line IT support to staff and students across the Trust.
* Manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune, ensuring secure and efficient IT operations.
* Deploy and maintain iPads, Chromebooks, and other mobile devices.
* Ensure IT security, including web content filtering and endpoint protection.
* Install and maintain hardware, including computers, printers, and network infrastructure.
* Maintain IT systems, user accounts, and backups in compliance with data protection policies.
* Support staff with IT training and troubleshooting to enhance their digital skills.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
* Experience in IT support and troubleshooting, preferably in an education setting.
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune.
* Understanding of IT security, including safeguarding measures.
* Experience managing and supporting iPads
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive and customer-focused approach to IT support.
* The ability to travel between school sites as required.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with Google Workspace, school MIS systems (SIMS, Arbor), and network management.
* Relevant IT certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.).
