We are looking for an enthusiastic,
dependable Room Division Manager to join our luxury hotel brand. The Roseate
Villa Bath occupies a quiet corner of the city, moments’ walk from the heart of
the iconic Bath, a city favoured for its heritage and cultural tourism.
The hotel encompasses two converted
Victorian houses which have had a characterful legacy. It exudes a
feeling of serenity in and around its grounds and offers wholehearted
assistance to its guests who either seek informative excursions around the city
or are simply in the mood for a nonchalant weekend getaway in the most
beautiful city of Bath.
The ideal candidate must be a very
responsible individual, with great attention to detail and possess the right
attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead the front of house and
housekeeping teams.
* Ensure all staff are well-trained, motivated,
and adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
* Ensure exceptional guest service standards are
maintained.
* Handle guest complaints and issues promptly
and efficiently.
* Oversee VIP guest arrivals and departures.
* Develop and implement standard operating
procedures (SOPs) for the department.
* Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget.
* Monitor expenses and implement cost control
measures.
* Ensure rooms and public areas meet the hotel's
cleanliness and maintenance standards.
* Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and
public areas.
* Maintain effective communication with other
departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
* Oversee the use of property management systems
(PMS) and other relevant software.
* Stay updated on new technologies that could
enhance guest services and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel
management,
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills.
* Proficiency in property management software
(e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making
abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple
tasks simultaneously.
