Part 145 Planner - Boscombe Down
Our client, a Helicopter Services company that has provided Rotary Engineering, Training and Charter across the UK and Europe for over 40 years require a Part 145 Planner to undertake a permanent position base on-site in Boscombe Down, Salisbury.
The role of Part 145 Planner is responsible for, but not limited to the following duties -
• Reporting to Engineering Manager
• Tracking aircraft utilisation in advance of upcoming maintenance
• Monitoring upcoming maintenance / component replacement
• Updating capacity/fleet plan & short forecast spreadsheet
• Checking NDT requirements
• Ordering upcoming components via stores
• Monitoring ground runs
• Weekly CAM update of aircraft
• Customer/ops liaison when booking aircraft in for maintenance (manpower planning)
• Updating customers during aircraft’s maintenance input
• Raising scheduled estimates
• Updating all aircraft (internal & external)
• Raising rectification estimates for labour/parts
• Raising work orders for aircraft
• Raising CRS
• Checking / typing / closing work orders
• General day to day engineering and customer enquires
• Work with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the business including Part M and Ops.
