Position

Reporting to our Communications Manager, the Communications Specialist will be responsible for leading the development of content marketing campaigns, events and internal communications.

As Communications Specialist, you will:

Manage and deliver brand assets which excite, engage and inform our audiences
Create engaging and dynamic content marketing campaigns consistent with the Catapult's brand, strategy and messaging including development of press releases, blogs and collateral
Plan and deliver engaging events and events marketing for internal and external events
Deliver the Catapult's events providing advice on content / format and build content for our digital channels, delivering campaigns to meet KPIs
Lead the internal communications activity for the Catapult including content development for all internal events
Build and co-ordinate a content schedule for our intranet
Act as a subject matter expert in managing the delivery of brand collateral and assets across the organisation to ensure consistency

Candidate Requirements

Ideally holds a CIM, CIPR, or IOIC qualification
Previous experience in delivering internal communications plans, event management and content marketing
A confident networker and collaborator with experience of sourcing and developing stories and ideas from across an organisation
Excellent communication skills with the ability to think creatively about ways to convey complex stories and information to different stakeholders
Experience implementing brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across the organisation
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously to coordinated deadlines
Able to work independently or part of part of a small team to deliver fully integrated communications campaigns
Experience working with agencies and creating PowerPoint presentations, e-newsletters, social media and updating website content
Excellent attention to detail

Up to £40,262 per annum (Full time)
