Job Description
3. Prepare and review accurate financial reports and statements in line with regulatory requirements.
4. Oversee month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
5. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
6. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
7. Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
8. Analyse financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
9. Manage and develop a small team within the accounting & finance department.
10. Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Reporting Manager should have:
11. A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
12. Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards.
13. Experience in managing financial reporting processes.
14. Proficiency in SQL and Power BI essential.
15. Ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
16. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
17. Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
