The Victoria Theatre hosts a number of different types of events including comedy, music and theatre.
The post will involve a significant amount of manual handling and working at height for which training will be provided. The role requires working within the Construction Design & Management Regulations and contributing to implementing a health & safety standard for the building as a part of the Technical Team. You will also be required to work unsociable hours including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Successful applicants will be expected to assist in the technical operations of the venue, provide a professional technical service to visiting theatre companies and hirers, contribute towards the welcoming environment of the venue, and to undertake the role of Duty Technician for performances, deputising for the Stage Manager & Chief Electrician.
