About The Role
As a Trainee Nursing Assistant at HC-One, you will be a role model, embodying supreme kindness in your work across our Memory Care, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will ensure that residents’ care planning arrangements are delivered impeccably, offer them a sense of choice and independence, and keep resident wellbeing above everything else. Whether you take on nursing tasks delegated by the qualified nurse, report an accident, or spend time with someone who is demonstrating symptoms of dementia, your focus will remain on residents.
About You
We’ve created this role to upskill Senior Care Assistants and provide them with the responsibility and support needed to become a Nursing Assistant.
* Level 3 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care (or working towards)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health & Social Care, with leadership responsibilities around administering medicines and leading a shift.
* Knowledge and understanding of the person‑led care planning process and the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
* Safeguarding awareness: recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know how to act and report concerns.
